In 2001, I left a career as a client relationship exec in investment banking to follow my big passion for designing spaces. My strong curiosity about the way a space can alter our mood while exploring my own personal style, led me to study at The Interior Design School, London, where I qualified in 2002. Following that, I gained invaluable work experience at a top design firm, focusing on hospitality and high-end residential projects, a women-owned staging company and a small interior design practice. Then, in 2013, life took an exciting turn! While raising my two daughters, we packed up and emigrated to the Bay Area.
I immersed myself in the local scene, starting by helping set up the interior design department at a firm of architects and word-of-mouth referrals soon brought in my own client projects. This natural progression led me to launch my own design firm in the East Bay in 2016, with a clear mission: to create thoughtful, personalized spaces that truly enhance the way people experience their homes.
I approach every project with collaboration at the heart of it—working closely with clients, local artisans, architects, and contractors to design rooms that are both inviting and meticulously detailed. People often say I have a knack for connecting with others, and I love taking their ideas and turning them into beautiful, functional interiors that are comfortable spaces in which to live, work and enjoy.
When I’m not busy with design, you can usually find me at the studio experimenting with different art media, walking our dog in the hills, or enjoying quality time at our Berkeley home with family and friends.
